QLT Cloud · Enterprise private cloud
Single-tenant clusters and NVMe compute in US regions, run by the same engineers who operate our fiber backbone. Predictable monthly pricing, data that stays where you put it, and a private path from your offices straight into your racks.

Regions & backbone
Choose where your data lives. Four regions are live today and two more open in 2027 — all linked over our private backbone, so replication between regions stays on private links.

Why private cloud
Hyperscalers are built for everyone. QLT Cloud is built for companies that need to know exactly where their workloads run, who can touch them and what next month’s bill will be.
Single-tenant by design
Hosted Private Cloud runs on physical servers and storage that no other customer shares. No noisy neighbors, no shared hypervisor — and a clean boundary to show your auditors.
Flat, predictable pricing
One monthly rate per resource with 2 TB of egress included. No per-request fees, no surprise transfer bills, and up to 20% off with a term.
Data stays where you put it
Pick a US region as the home for your data. Replicas and backups only go to the second region you choose — never anywhere else.
Engineers who run your network, too
Cloud Connect links your offices to your cloud over QLT fiber or SD-WAN — private, low-latency and supported by one team on one ticket. When something is slow, nobody points at “the other provider”.
Migration, handled with you
We map dependencies, build the landing zone and move workloads in rehearsed waves with a rollback plan for each one — from VMware, Hyper-V, bare metal or public cloud.
Open standards, no lock-in
KVM, Kubernetes, S3-compatible object storage, an API and Terraform. Your images and data leave with you whenever you choose.
Architecture
From the servers to the Kubernetes control plane, every layer is designed, operated and monitored by our team. Scroll, hover or tap to follow the light up the stack.
Current-generation dual-socket servers with ECC memory, redundant power supplies and 25/100 GbE networking, racked in Tier III facilities.
- Single-tenant hosts
- Redundant PSUs & top-of-rack switches
- Out-of-band management network
Layer 1 of 5
A hardened KVM stack with live migration, so we can patch hosts and replace hardware without rebooting your virtual machines.
- Live migration for maintenance
- Dedicated or burstable vCPU
- Secure boot & vTPM for guests
Layer 2 of 5
Isolated overlays, distributed firewalls, floating IPs and load balancers — plus a private handoff to QLT fiber and SD-WAN through Cloud Connect.
- Per-tenant network isolation
- Distributed firewall & security groups
- Native IPv6
Layer 3 of 5
Distributed block storage on NVMe with three synchronous replicas across hosts, and S3-compatible object storage for archives, data lakes and backups.
- 3× synchronous replication
- Snapshots & clones in seconds
- Encrypted at rest
Layer 4 of 5
Run Linux and Windows virtual machines or Kubernetes clusters with autoscaling node pools — from the console, the API or Terraform.

Alongside every layer
Immutable, encrypted backups replicated to a second region of your choice, with disaster-recovery runbooks rehearsed twice a year.
- RPO from 15 minutes · RTO from 1 hour
- Immutable (object-lock) retention
- Cross-region replication
Services & pricing
Start with a few virtual machines, graduate to a dedicated cluster and protect all of it with Backup & DR. Monthly prices in USD.

Quantum Compute instances
Pre-sized KVM instances on NVMe with private networking and snapshots. 2 TB of monthly egress is included.
| Instance | vCPU | Memory | NVMe | Per month | Estimator |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| qc.small | 2 | 4 GB | 80 GB | $25.00 | |
| qc.medium | 4 | 8 GB | 160 GB | $50.00 | |
| qc.large | 8 | 16 GB | 320 GB | $100.00 | |
| qc.xlarge | 16 | 32 GB | 640 GB | $200.00 |
Instance prices use the same unit rates as the estimator: $5 per vCPU · $1.75 per GB memory · $0.10 per GB NVMe.

Security & compliance
The controls you would expect from a regulated environment are switched on from day one — not sold as add-ons.
Designed to support regulated workloads
QLT Cloud is designed to support HIPAA and PCI-DSS workloads. During onboarding we work through a shared-responsibility matrix with your team, so every control has a named owner.
Compliance is a shared responsibility: your own policies and configuration remain part of any assessment.
Encryption at rest
NVMe volumes, object storage and backups are encrypted with AES-256. Keys are rotated and stored separately from the data they protect.
Encryption in transit
TLS 1.2+ on the console and API, and encrypted replication between regions over private backbone links.
MFA & least privilege
Multi-factor authentication for every console user, role-based access control and scoped, expiring API tokens for automation.
Audit logs
Every console, API and support action is recorded with who, what and when — retained and exportable to your SIEM.
Immutable backups
Object-lock backups cannot be changed or deleted before their retention expires, even with administrator credentials — a last line of defense against ransomware.
Network isolation
Private networks, distributed firewalls and DDoS mitigation at the edge. Nothing faces the internet unless you decide it should.
Migration
An engineer-led process that moves production without drama. Timelines are typical for a mid-sized environment — yours is scoped during the assessment.
